W205 Temporary fix for Audio 20 issue after SAT radio remote update!!
*NOTE TO ANYONE WITH THE AUDIO 20 RADIO THAT ISNT WORKING SINCE THE SAT RADIO UPDATE RELEASED BY SIRIUS XM!*

I have 2015 W205 C300 4Matic. This happened to me. Cannot use any audio function, and sometimes backup camera doesn't display. Also, if I select Radio, it locks climate control and entire system for about 30-seconds. My dealer is offering to do the temporary fix for me via service appointment. MB after 7-days still doesn't have permanent fix. Why would it take so long?

Was just going to make a thread on this! Just went by my dealer (literally 25 minutes ago) and told me that Mercedes is still trying to get a software update that'll fix this. ETA for that update apparently is next week or two weeks. I'm going back April 9th to get this addressed. I'll keep ya guys posted on that.
My touchpad stopped working at some point during my drive last week, so hopefully this will fix it. I'll also get my Nav updated to the latest software, even though people hate it for some reason?

Hi there,
I attempted the fix earlier in the parking lot at work. I taped the fiber optics wires end to end with tape and reinforced them inside a straw.
Everything immediately started working, but had no volume.
What did I do wrong?

Have that radio problem in my 2015 c300 benz , it happened the same time everybody had the problem in 2018, just rode without it because warrenty was over, now looking it up i see alot of people had the same issues. what was the final solution?

IM 2 years w no screen- screen comes on, says “mercedes” Then thats it—- cant change or control mouse or dial- radio come on (sometimes) but cant change chanel - and sometimes its just static - i do hard reset (eject button) It shuts down pops up same way -
I just want screen to work so i can trade it in — Please send fix
