Best retrofit analogue audio input for W205 Audio20
Hi from Germany,
I am the owner of a W205 C180 sedan (built 01/2016) with an Audio20 infotainment system.
I recently "upgraded" to an Android Headunit (in Germany also called "Chinadisplay").
The Headunit has an analogue audio output. Unfortunately my W205 only has a digital audio input (USB port in the center armrest which is made for connecting an IPOD). That's why there is a small analogue->digital-converter in the center armrest which converts the signal and mimics an IPOD.
Obviously the sound quality suffers from the conversion from analogue to digital (the sound from the OEM-CD-player is much better than from the Headunit).
Unfortunately the Headunit blocks any Bluetooth connect except for AndroidAuto/GoogleCarplay.
Therefore I am looking for a good option to retrofit an analogue (3.5mm) audio input. I found this option on naviplus.com but it is rather expensive.
Can you recommend any other kits for retrofitting an an analogue audio input for my Audio 20.
