2016 C300 w/ sport package
Need help replacing OE tires
I'm trying to find the exact OE replacements for my 2016 C300 4matic sport package w/ 18" rims. The OE tires on now are the Continental ProContact GX SSR. The tirerack link shows them in stock below. I'm trying to get them through Discount Tire but it doesn't look like they carry them, they only have the Continental ProContact GX without the SSR designation but I'm told they still are runflats. The guy at discount tire is trying to tell me they discontinued the ProContact GX SSR and the ProContact GX is the replacement yet tirerack is showing the 2023 C300's still ship with the ProContact GX SSR from the factory, so I don't really buy that. Does anyone know if the two discount tire links will be the same tire as the tirerack one which I know is the OE tire? It does not have the SSR designation but it still says in the description it's a Mercedes OE tire and certain sizes are runflats. Another question I have is if they will be MO Mercedes Extended Mobility tires since I know those differ from traditional runflats.

I get we have no spare, but run flats are such a terrible ride!!
I would be interested in how many people have gotten a flat and the run flat was worth it. If u get a blow out I don’t think it’s gonna help.

my first new set of tires on my C43 were conti dsw06+ they were a great AS tire for me!!
