C300 Muffler Delete
Hi!
I would like to know for those who have deleted their mufflers on their W205, which pipes have you guys used. I went to my mechanic and he told me he couldn’t do it since it wasnt just connecting a straight pipe. Any advice?

check YouTube, there's lots of examples of how and what was removed/added and you get to hear how the modification sound. not sure why your mechanic said it can't be done, you basically cut out the piece you want to get rid of and weld/clamp in new section of pipe

I couldn’t find any videos of how it’s done, just how it sounds like. I called another mechanic and they said the same thing, they couldn’t spend the whole day just welding since it wasn’t just a ”straight pipe”. Would like to know what pipes and sizes were used for those who have done it. Could not find any finished muffler delete pipes to buy either for this model.
