Android Auto not working how to update command software?

Android Auto not working how to update command software?
I have a 18 c class and ever since Google updated its Android auto I tried everything new USB plug to get Android AUto on the screen and it no longer works. I wonder if the Command needs a software update and if I can update it myself. Thanks

You will need XENTRY to update COMAND, the easiest way is to just get a smartphone integration box (forgot what you call it) and plug it in the usb port, that way you get that function again plus you also get wireless Android Auto. I am not sure who makes the best ones, but there are sponsors like Carlinkit here, read reviews before deciding.

I saw that thread mine has the ports in center console and cig lighter where the USB ports are in the photo.

Ya that is normal as it was a facelift change. So not applicable to your car.
