So I have a base model c300 that I've been tastefully modifying for the past 3 months,
Keep in mind, my model has vented rotors in the front and solid in the rear so I decided that I was going to upgrade them all to vented/slotted/drilled rotors.
I had to purchase a new set of calipers for the front, I bought the 4 piston factory Brembo's that come on the w205 c300 sport model and they fit like a charm; photos below. Now where my issue is, is the fact that I assumed the rear calipers that are currently sitting on solid rotors would fit for whatever reason on the vented set that I bought. (they did not)
I'm looking everywhere I can online to figure out what kind of calipers I'm supposed to buy to fit on the rear vented rotor, but its getting pretty confusing considering all of the rear ones that aren't c43 or c63 are single piston.
I don't want to upgrade all the way to c63 or c43 calipers unless i really have to- I hear its can be a pain in the *** with coding and hardware and whatnot. So is there some kind of c300 sport rear caliper that fits on vented rotors?
I have the fronts installed and they feel amazing, I'd love to get the rears on as soon as possible so I can move onto the next performance mod. Thank you all for your help.
