c350e 2016 smoking sometimes when accelerating
Hello everybody.
my name is Wessel and I have a used car company in the netherlands. I mainly sell mercedes.
i recently sold a c350e (1991cc petrol engine) and the customer came back with the following complaint :
sometimes when I accelerate there is a big cloud of blue smoke coming from the exhaust.
We went for a drive and nothing happened, so he left the car so that we could drive it for a few days.
first 15/20 kilometers, nothing strange happened, then when i slowed down and accelerated again i saw a big pile of smoke behind me. Next 5-6 kilometers, nothing happened. then it happened 3-4 times in 2 minutes while driving in the city, when i was driving slow, always when I accelerated from almost 0 km/h.
So we went and looked inside the intercooler hose and turbo, the was a lot of oil in there, the PCV hose was dry on the inside so i don't think the oil is coming from here.
I ordered a new turbo, we installed it, and at first it all seemed to be working fine, but this time after 60 kilometers, again, a big pile of smoke.
again the intercoolerhose an turbo had a lot of oil inside, stille the pcv hose was dry inside.
we had another (used) turbo here in stock, put it on, but it is still smoking (sometimes, just like with the other 2 turbos).
now i'm a little lost as to what could be the cause of this problem.
I hope someone over here can help me out.
thank you in advance,
greetings Wessel
