I am new here and I would love your expertise about mercedes.

I have a W205 MY 2015

VIN: 55SWF4KB2FU079842

234 BLIND SPOT ASSISTANT
258 COLLIS.WARN. SYS. W/ ACTIVE BRAKE INTERV. FCW STOP

This means i should have the blind spot and distance warning settings under my assistnace settings in my driver screen right?

Both of which are unavailable like they are not found ... ps my car had an accident in which steering wheel airbag was deployed idk if this related.

Please if someone has any info about how to get both options back or I am mistaken.

Both mirrors have the triangles inside them and they are intact.

Any help would be appreciated

234 only signal with the triangles from the mirrors and make a beep,

258 only shows a red triangle in the Cluster and a beep

None of those displays anything in Assistance Distance menu.

 

hello dear, yes i understand but i cant enable/ disable any of the above systems.

blind spot is not working nor i can a setting for it
and the other thing for the distance alert also no settings available

my question what should i do so i can see those settings back again and both systems become functional

 

Not all cars come with the full Adaptive Assistance but the more the basic assistance. My friend as a B-Class and it also has these features but you can't turn them off or on. Now, the fact that you do have them and can see them, I would suspect that they have not been either trained and maybe not even plugged in.

 

I don’t think that you are looking in the right place. It is controlled in the multimedia system - see your Owners Manual.

hello dear, yes this is exactly where i am searching but still nothing, my friend has a maxisys autel scanner you think he can help in such case?

 

my friend has the same car and the same features and both are working normally, i think it needs xentry or star scanner so someone can re enable them again.

my friend has autel maxisys scanner do you think he can help and how exactly if any of you know?
