Navigation Map
Hi Guys, does anyone have access to new navigation map update files for a C220d W205? I cannot get mercedes me to accept my VIN for some reason and all websites want an arm and a leg for a map SD card. I appreciate any advice!

If you are looking for an SD card, that's the entry level navigation system and not COMAND, so maps can't be downloaded from Mercedes me etc. You need to get a new clean SD card. Once the card is used, it's locked to the VIN. Not sure if SD card files are available through other sources for download, but most of the map updates discussed here are for the COMAND system and the mentioned member offers unlock keys for those.

I think you can download freely the map updates using the Mercedes Download Manager from here - https://dm.mercedes-benz-customer-so...navigation.exe and add them to a flash drive, however, you will also need PIN code which you must buy. Not sure about SD cards though. Mine is a 2017 c220d w205 and the latest map update I saw available is 2021 (Europe) so I don't think its even worth it tbh

alrighty, thanks for the info. I literally had no idea about this so it makes so much more sense now. I got the car less than a month ago so all info is critical information! Thank you.
