Software updates?
Software updates?
hey all,
are we able to update firmwares etc ourselves or does it need to be taken into a dealer? i can't seem to find anything about it online so i'm leaning towards the latter.
i read somewhere that the fix to the centre console "chirping" is in an update but hoping i don't have to go into a dealer to get it sorted.
thanks

Software updates are usually driven by guided troubleshooting and TSB documents.
Typically a module troubleshooting ends with a firmware flash. Practically that's a $500 pricetag unless you can reference a campaign number. Talk to your service provider.
There are multiple reasons for gremlins to materialize besides software integration bugs. Modules become unstable and need a free power-cycle to resume stable operation.
