Rapidly discharging range in plug-in hybrid
I have a problem with my W205 C350e: while driving, the electric range drains within just a few dozen meters. It also won’t accept charging from public charging stations.
When connected to home charging, it shows the green charging icon and appears to be fully charged, displaying about 20 km of range, but that range drops very quickly
and after only a few hundred meters it shows that charging is required. Additionally, a message appears instructing me to leave the car in position P with the engine running, along with a red warning about battery failure.
So far, I’ve replaced the 12V batteries and checked the main battery capacity, which seems to be fine.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue and knows how to fix it? None of the workshops in my area are willing to take on the repair…
