dealership nightmare - please help!
Not the dealers fault as they use a 3rd party glass company to do their repairs. The dealership says they will make it right...so far so good. However, when I tried to open the sunroof it sticks at the same corner of the elevated glass. They told me they go bad all the time, which seems to be the case...but they also shared that the glass company was able to open it when they did the install. So, I have a hard time believing the track failed completely on it's own immediately after the glass install. On Monday they are having a MB expert come in to look at it - I guess they are going to need to pull the headliner. My question is if they don't agree to fix the sunroof & come back with the track failed on it's own, could the track have failed because the glass company cranked on it or put undo pressure on it when they had it open and broke something?
OK so there's that; however, while it is sitting in their lot someone either tried to steal it or just stole the rear tow hook cover. They also said they are going to make it right and ordered a new one...but when I looked at the bumper closely I noticed some damage to the tabs that hold the cover on and the hole you insert the " security loop?" that keeps the cover from falling off and just lets it dangle.
It looks like to make that right/"good as new" they would need to replace the bumper.
Sorry for the novel, but if anyone would have any advice on how to proceed on both issues it would be greatly appreciated as I'm at a loss - thank you very much.

Hopefully Dealer won't immobilize your car for too many days while parts come over.
Take this opportunity to have other paid service done to show trust & consideration.

I am unsure how often you open your pano roof, but if the glass shop had been the ones to open the roof first in while, it can explain why you opening the roof caused the mechanism to fail.
The problem you're describing is a common problem for this chassis, but considering how close of a timeline these two semi-related repair/isue have taken place, this is something that can be brought up with your service manager/service advisor.
Separately, your Tow Hook Cover Tether portion looks fine. No one is going to replace your entire bumper over a security tether piece of plastic being broken on a 9 year old C-Class to be fair.
So, any advice how to proceed would be greatly appreciated...between the original factory recall front panel they had to replace because of the uneven install, to now it needing to be reattached or replaced I've lost count of how many times I've been back and forth from the dealership as this would be the 3rd time they would need to replace the same panel.
