Rear camera not working
I was rear-ended two weeks ago by a heavy van that failed to brake at a red light. The impact pushed my car past the stop line and triggered a dashboard warning: “Collision Prevention Assist Plus Inoperative.”
My car was in the shop for a week, and I collected it this evening. The rear bumper appears new, although I wouldn’t be surprised if it was simply repaired and repainted. When I first reversed out of the shop, everything worked, but shortly after, the rear camera stopped displaying completely. It’s a bank holiday, so I won’t be able to contact them until Tuesday, which is incredibly frustrating.
Anyone else come across something similar? Could the collision assist error be related to the rear camera not working?
Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Collision assist involves rear + front radar - I ve already been rear ended twice by loonies... these features save the day.
Use a scanner to troubleshoot or let the bodyshop finish what they started before insurance adjuster closes your case.
