How much is the premium base price? Thanks
The base MSRP is $44,850 (C300W), and 46,850 (C300W4).

That’s odd because the 2023s have already been on sale for a number of weeks in the US. Base price is up $1,300 (quite a lot) to $44,850 for RWD and $46,850 for 4Matic, and destination charge is up $100 to $1,150. I believe all option prices are the same as 2022s. A few things have changed across the MB board, like heated back seats are down from $580 to $500 and trailer hitch is up from $575 to $600, but I don’t think any of the option price changes effect the C.

Yeah.. hence I wanted to show the dealer the brochure.. he is giving that as a reason to skip talking about finances now and talk about them once my car arrives.. (its a custom order).

Ordered 2023 C300 4Matic
I’m actually curious about the updated guide as well, specifically the revision notes. I saw in another thread that there was a revision in October stating the semiconductor shortage issue impacting 3D audio, advanced USB package and wireless charging pad have been resolved effective with January 2023 production. Hoping to get confirmation on that per the ordering guide. @Eaton that would be a huge relief to not have to cross my fingers and hope I’m lucky enough to have the 3D included in my upcoming build!😁

Your local MB dealership will be your best source of information for what features will be available for your particular build. The chip shortage does appear to be beginning to ease but that's not a guarantee that things are back to the pre-chip shortage days yet. Good luck and keep us posted.

Unfortunately, my local dealership hasn't proved particularly knowledgeable. When I asked about the semiconductor shortage and if they've noticed a lot of their C Class stock with or without the Burmester 3D on Exclusive trims and above, they just kind of shrugged and no one appeared to be aware of a shortage impacting anything. They got my initial order wrong and when it was delayed 90 days, no one even told me so my experience has been a little bit of a bummer. To your point, nothing is guaranteed, but seeing it in the order guide gives me as much as confidence as I could have at this point considering my scheduled production date is Feb 1. I know they included the sound package with my Pinnacle trim so hopefully, there are no more delays and I'll have good news to report in March when I take delivery!

What I wrote in my previous post was from a pop-up screen at the MBUSA website when I went to build a W206 so that's where I got that information from. I don't really think anyone really knows when the semiconductor shortage will end so I think it's important to keep that in mind. I certainly hope you get all of the features you ordered.

I've been following some recent builds and it looks like as of vin 118XXX (I guess a model year 2023.5 now), Parktronic (codes 218 back up camera, 235 Parktronic with parking sensores, and Package code P44) are now standard rather then just 218, and DA3 Parking assistant package is being replaces with DQ1 Parking Assistant Package, now $500 less ($500 total), with 501 360 Cam, P47 Package code, and P82 guard 360. Small update but interesting.

2023 C Class
This is the build sheet for the C Class I ordered.
Compared to the MBUsa website 2022 configurator (there's no configurator for the 2023 model year yet), the main difference is
- base price $1,300 more expensive (and I knew that)
- Rear spoiler is not included in the AMG package anymore, so it's $350 extra (I will fight that with the dealership when the car arrives)

they updated it today I guess, just checked yesterday.
So the amg package is now $350 more expensive and you can’t get the spoiler in body color with that package.
also you can’t get 19” multispoke wheels? Maybe a bug in the configurator

Looks weird now the Burmester, enhanced ambient lighting, illuminated front sills etc are only available with pinnacle package and not exclusive?

The build your own website has been all sorts of bugged. They're just quirks for the website, exclusive cars should have enhanced ambient, wireless charging, illuminating sills, and sound package should contonue to trickle back in.

As for the 2022 C300 vs 2023 C300 AMG line, I believe they're both the same in terms of being $3,050 and requiring one of the $350 spoilers.

On the 2022 configurator the spoiler was free. Now the package is $350 more expensive and you get the black spoiler included

Yes, this is an inaccuracy on the mbusa build site. If you look at window stickers of cars for sale, the package still cost $3,050, the spoiler still cost $350 but it's requred you pick one, and the body colored one is still an option.

Does anyone have the 2024 order guide? It apparently came out recently. I think there are some changes that will put the C in line with the GLC - wireless charging standard and parktronic, digital lights part of the pinnacle trim, maybe a few others.

Good eye, you are correct! For those of us who’ve taken a peek at the MY2024 DOG have noticed that the parking assistance package will be standard. It was previously apart of the exclusive trim and not available on premium trim cars. For MY2024 it is standard with the exception of the 360 camera which is apart of the exclusive trim. That means the parking assistant and the parking sensors are standard as opposed to just the rear view camera.

However, for MY2023 C300s built in 2023, they have made the parking assistance pack standard just like they’re doing for the C43 and for MY2024 C300s. This means base premium trim cars now come for with parking sensors and the parking assistant as standard.

This is not incredibly important news but definitely something that might be important to those on a tighter budget, or those who didn’t want to spend all that extra money on an exclusive trim line just for the parking package without the care for the other upgrades. I’ve attached two links to cars in inventory from the same dealer. Both MY2023 Premium trim cars, one produced in 12/22 (silver AMG line car) and one produced in 2023 (black car). As we can see, the one produced in 2023 has the now standard parking sensors and parking assistant. Apart from the obvious parking sensors, when the rearview camera is displayed in the black car it now shows the parking sensor field on the left as well as a submenu on top for the parking assistant. There is no other camera view option as that is still part of the exclusive trim.

2023 C300 4Matic, 2006 SLK280 6-speed stick
I've been following this with interest. It would appear that our car is going to be quite rare. I've attached the build sheet. Last August we ordered a 2023 C300 with the mid-level Exclusive trim in 890 Lunar Blue with AMG Night package and 294Sienna Brown/Black AMG leather interior among other options. We were initially told that the build date would be Nov. 1, 2022 but that slipped to Nov.14. The car left East London on Jan. 3, 2023 and we took delivery on Feb. 10. We were a little surprised that we got a 4Matic car; we had ordered RWD but MBUSA in its infinite wisdom does not ship RWD cars to the Pacific Northwest. The car was a bit more expensive as a result, but oh well. Ours had the Burmester, Ventilated Seats, and Hands-Free access deleted due to chip shortage, but we got navigation, Distronic, acoustic glass, and the advanced USB package all fitted. Given that 890 Lunar Blue was deleted from the color choices as of December our car could only have been produced during the month of November. I have to wonder how many other cars left the line in 890/294 colors with the Night package during the only month that such a combination could possibly have been built.

I was so sad when I heard they dropped lunar blue for the second half of 2023 onwards, BIG mistake IMO. My W205 is in Lunar blue and despite how much of a PITA it is to take care of, looking back I wouldn’t have done it any other way, maybe apart from Mojave silver. Definitely rare to have a 2023 with Lunar blue.

I’m just so sick of grey-scale cars. I don’t need my daily driver to be “look-at-me” different from all the other cars on the road, but a dark blue is different enough to stand out but not too much so that it can’t slip under the radar.
