W206 Fuse Box Diagram ?

All in the title. I can't find it anywhere: not on the internet, not on the manual, not in the car. In the manual it says it's located in the trunk fusebox but there's nothing there (except a fuse box).
Basically I want to install a dashcam.

Maybe it might be underneath the lid itself? I'm also going to hardwire my dashcam in my w206. From my understanding are you trying to find which fuses are constant and which are only on when the cars on? I would recommend just testing each fuse with a voltmeter to find the constant and on/off power. What dashcam are you installing?

Exact. It's not under the lid. Yeah sure that's possible but I'd rather have the diagram. It's a Blackvue DR900X-2CH.

I see. A voltmeter would do you a lot better. I'm currently installing a dashcam on another vehicle and the diagram isn't sufficient enough imo. Also make sure the power magic pro is on the right voltage when testing.

Right. I'll just use the voltmeter then 😊 thanks. Although I don't have the magic pro, only the hard wiring kit included. I don't really understand the point of the magic pro, my understanding is the dashcam itself is able to use the acc power and current voltage to automatically shutdown.

You could also use a dashcam battery instead.... if you like : )

okay so for the life of me I can't open this fuse box (the one on the driver side). I may just get it to a mercedes dealership.

The driver side fuse box is very difficult to open. It's held tightly by four separate fingers. But don't bother. There is nothing there you need to see. No fuse chart and no switched 12V source. I've checked all four fuse boxes and found no fuse chart. Still hunting for a proper location for cam and radar detector. So far nothing...

The fuse chart was actually in the trunk. I've scanned it, attached.

The fuses are on a timer anyway, around 1hr. I've had to plug the park directly into the battery.

Wow, thanks so much. You saved the day and gave me a project. Not sure about any delay but it will take some research. Thanks.

Note that fuse 400 in the trunk controls the cigarette lighter which goes on and off with the ignition. No delay at all.

C300d (W206) estate
I'm also installing a Blackvue DR900X-2CH into my W206 Estate (previously fitted in a W205). I'm installing a Blackvue Magic Pro as well, requiring both a switched and a constant power source.
It seems to me that this is best achieved from the fuse box in the trunk. I found the diagram in there (had to use a plier to get it out though). The fuse box in the trunk does not seem to match the diagram, but with a voltmeter you can find usable slots.
I have not connected the cables yet, so I have not experienced timer/delay issues.
According to the diagram, the fuses in this fuse box must be marked "E", and I cannot find much info on this. Do any of you know the importance of this? Would using a "normal" fuse pose any risk to the car or only potentially to my dashcam?

It looks like the E rating is a general purpose rating that defines the time for the fuse to melt. You will be hard pressed to find that rating on any fuse. Don't think it matters anyway for this purpose. For one thing you aren't replacing the existing fuse, but you are adding a new fuse for your camera, radar detector etc. I am using fuse 400 for a switched voltage source and it works fine.
By the way I found my diagram in the fuse box but I haven't been able to remove it so far. LOL Pliers will probably be needed for that.

Hello,
Sorry for resurrecting old post. I have seen 400 for when the car is on but what fuse are you using as car is off?
Thanks.
