Mercedes ME Lock/Unluck? C300 W206
Hello everyone,
I already have found many useful information on this forum and I would like to thank everyone!
I did find the Engine remote start (which didn't really work in a reasonable time) but other then warning me of windows and car been unlock, I cannot find a setting or button on the Mercedes Me application (both in Iphone and Android version of it) to open or close the car remotely.
There are a few videos online but its for different vehicles.
Is this feature not yet implemented for the W206?

Yep, it's the Lock Status feature in the app. Should be there.

Thanks for all the replay
Thank you all for the quick answers.
Well apparently in order for the app to "correctly" work it needed an "identity" verification before it could be activated for remote lock/unlock. No luck through the app. I was able to call the 1800 number and a gentleman on the phone was able to "activate and identify me as the owner".
I finally see the Lock and Unlock buttons now in the app.

Just to continue on the subject,
the app is not locking or unlocking the car at any given time. It just says "Request Sent" and circles around for minutes but nothing happens.
If I lock or unlock the car with the remote, it immediately senses it and shows the change of status.
So the problem is not in the communication between the car and the app.
I tried in several places with good reception.
My subscriptions are all active until next year.
Not sure what else to do.
Next step is a phone call I guess.
Did anyone has experience this kind of behavior before?
Thanks

Well, funny enough, after sending a detailed email to Mercedes Me customer service, my locking and unlocking service “magically” started working a few minutes later..
Auto start function is next on the list. Never worked to begin with.
subscription and App seems working properly but the “send request never completes…

I realized that is dependent on cellular connection. I tried the upmentioned functionality in a less busy area and all worked as advertised, however when the network is busy, all the functions comes to a screeching halt.. I wish they implemented the remote start also from the keyfob...
In my humble opinion they should provide these perks free of charge like a lot of manufacturers do, considering the functionality is not always guaranteed.

Works well for me. It may help that I park outside 99% of the time. Thank god too, because I walk away without locking it at least 50% of the time. (My previous car of 8 years auto-locked sensing the key moving away and I just keep forgetting.) About 3 minutes later I get a text telling me my car is unlocked.
Engine start through the ap is great too. First one I've had that wasn't line of sight and it's a game changer for sure. Line of sight is useful from your living room if parked outside, but not much else.
