2023 W206 C300 Release date?
I custom ordered mine W206 C300 this Feb, it was delayed multiple times and finally became an MY23 and was produced this August. Now my dealer told me the car just arrived in the US, but he cannot give me the car unless MB officially released 2023-year models. Is anyone in a similar situation here? I have been waiting too long and really don't want to wait for an unknown release date, especially the MY22 just arrived US this Spring, Based on what MB did before, they may delay the 23 MY to this winter or even next spring. I'm thinking to give up, and buying an existing inventory or even buying another brand instead, not sure worth it or not.

2022 C class was just released in mid May here in the US. my dealer source who is the General Sales Manager of the dealership told me 2023 won’t be released for the C class until January-March 2023. MB is holding them back.

So all those July-Aug build new C-class will be kept in port until next March? That is insane... if that's the case I will definitely ask my dealer to give me back the deposit and buy other cars, ridiculous, the car is already here but I cannot buy it. They don't have much stock in the market already, and they want to lose more customers who custom ordered like a year ago.

Strategies? I think you are giving them too much credit. In addition, I think their USA IT support is made up of a group of 4th graders.

I can’t imagine they hold the 2023s for too long. There are already hundreds in the US, and there aren’t that many 2022s left. I’d expect them to release the cars once October hits. I may be wrong though.

I suspect that first graders these days could easily do a better coding job. And we are waiting on a 23 E 450 cab that was built July 19th and waiting at the VPC since August 22nd. Still no word on when the 2023's will actually be releaased.

Not sure how many is plenty for him. We have a total of 4 coming. There are only 100 cars in stock nationally that are in P2-P3 status meaning unsold inventory.
