2022 C class
Central MBUX screen
I have had the w206 c class for the last 3weeks, brand new 72 plate UK. The screen had gone fuzzy twice while driving. I would then have to park, step out of the car and wait for about 10minutes for the entire system to shut down then start it again and all returns to normal as if nothing happened. Its frustrating as its a new car and when this happens navigation, heating, camera and everything controllable from that screen is all impossible. Has anyone had these same issues? I have taken the car to the dealership but I am worried it might not be fixable and could keep repeating itself.

It doesn't matter if you are on that screen or not, as long as your phone is connected, it could happen.

Power cycle the system to resolve this without waiting. I press and hold the power button next to the mute until the screen turns off, goes black, and reboots. Upon reboot, let the button go and MBUX should be back to normal.

I've had my car (2023 C300W4) about a month and had this exact same issue with the console screen for the first time today. Just driving down the road and the screen fizzed out. After the car was parked for a couple of hours, the screen was back to normal when I restarted the car. My Apple CarPlay is up to date and there are not MB system updates outstanding. If it happens again, I'll try rebooting the system as described above.
