Front Driver Seat sqeeks and noise all the time
Hi All,
I bought my C class (W206) over a year ago and been suffering from front driver seat noise since I got it.
the noise is horrible and I hear sqeeks whenever I have a speed bumper or having and sharp turn or breaking. I have been to service agent for over 5 times without a fix
anyone suffering the same issue and have a resolution or know what to do about it ?

Several people on the motor-talk W206 forum have complained about this, and some have reported that the issue was fixed by either replacing the back part of the driver's seat or replacing the complete seat.
I have the same issue, and my C300 is scheduled to have that looked at (among other things) beginning of May.

My C300 was in the workshop yesterday to be serviced and to have some issues resolved one of them being the squeaking front seat.
The technician working on the car confirmed the issue and informed me that Mercedes has a so-called TPI on it, meaning that they are aware of the issue.
For my car the solution, according to Mercedes, is to replace the whole seat bottom. That part is in back order, and I will have to get that replaced when the replacement part becomes available.
I am happy that Mercedes acknowledges the issue.

Previously I had posted a few times on the issue I was experiencing with my noisy driver’s seat. After three visits to the dealership they finally figured it out and resolved it. So happy they did! It was driving me crazy. See my posts on the the thread, “Two minor annoyances with front seats for service”. Good luck!

I googled the TPI but it looks it's for the W205?
edit: sorry I’m mistaken, google found a different one.
this is the right one

Fixed it 3 times
My dealership has fixed it 3 times by outing foam and replacing panels. That being said it’s making noise again. My car has had so many warranty issues that I have mostly used loaner cars (cla) to the point that after 1 year it only has 6k miles on it

C300 Sport/Palladium Silver on Black/P2
Wow I have a 08 C300 and 09 SLK350. I dealt with seat issues on both when they were new before the warranty ran out.
I kept having to have the complete seat frames replaced like you guys on these W206s.
I wonder why Mercedes still struggles with the seats? I figure they aren't even the manufacture of em, but a company that specializes in seats. .
My Volvo and Saab seats have always been quiet.

Update:
June - Seats in for squeaking and they performed the bulletin on seat frames.
October - Seats still squeaked so they performed the second bulletin which had them apply tape to the rear of each seat back.
Picked it up and it squeaked so I turned around and brought it back in. They kept it for another three days and I think they finally fixed it. They pulled the driver and passenger seat backs off and applied additional tape.
The dash and center stack still resets 40% of the time.
I could not, in good conscienceless, recommend a 2022 or newer C300! The level of quality, either in engineering or manufacturing is poor at best. Looking forward to my JD Power survey.

Little update. The rattle noise from the passenger seat stops if I move the passenger seat backrest in a more vertical position.
I mostly drive solo so it's not a big issue for me.
And when someone is sitting there there's no rattle, no matter the inclination of the backrest.

Driver seat only squeaks in the headrest.
