Was MB the first to jump on this in their cars?

Apparently GM has announced it will be doing so "in the future". I imagine other auto manufacturers will do the same. MB does seem to be the first to actually deploy it broadly.

For those who joined the program, what is different now on the "Hey Mercedes" answers?
What does it think of BMW or Audi?

I see, did GM's announcement of "in the future" come before MB announced it already releasing or after?

It was in March, but this could still have been peremptory. You could also google "GM ChatGPT" and see what I saw.

So far "Hey Mercedes" looks as stupid as before to me. I haven't played much with it though.
I'm curious to know where it has improved compared to the non beta version.

edit/update: random commands like “open the sunroof” or “close the windows” don’t work anymore. Others like the changing ambient light color do work.
I’m sure these glitches will be ironed out.

If you haven't opt-in yet, don't yet I hear complaints from the other threads that it is breaking certain features. I mean it is Beta I get it but was hoping it introduces new features for testing but keep existing features working.

That is frustrating, I am sorry to hear that. Those things were actually pretty useful especially how hard it is to operate the sunroof with the capacitive slider (especially for those who have dry fingers)

Reason being that there isn't a way to opt back out yet, at least we haven't find it yet.

So another forum member found the way to opt-out: https://mbworld.org/forums/eqs/86818...ml#post8801081
