not surprised MB jumped on it first as they want to been seen as the car manufacturers that has the latest of everything... evident in the W214 E-Class not necessarily a bad thing depending on how you look at it.
I would be cautious about activating the ChatGPT. I added the feature a few days ago, now my volume on entertainment mutes all the time and "hey Mercedes" is intermittent as is the switch on the steering wheel. I am trying to restore to my original setup with no luck.

hmmm no wonder they called it the MBUX Beta program that includes ChatGPT and not just simply ChatGPT, they must have introduced it as an experimental feature.
Check your MBUX software version, here is mine and it works fine, including playing next tracks.
It is not possible to revert to the non-Beta as I think they had downloaded a new software so only MB can revert it back.

Ugh that is not good, is this a Beta by name only or is it really Alpha testing, if nothing works is true?
For those experiencing issues, did contacting Mercedes Me support yield anything?
There is no updated software. It's all done server-side.
ok Let me be more clear then: The MB is updating the software on a server, it was most likely tested with the latest MBUX version and this is the only part a user can update.
The only way the a user can go back to before Beta state is by communicating to a previous server software that I am sure MB has kept as a back up. I do not think they would allow it before 3 months had past or everyone starts to complain.
I didn't want to get too technical.
I’m not having any problems. The conversation is getting better.
it will only be betting better as she learns more about you. Although Microsoft had limited its reach somewhat for the reasons mentioned in the press before.

Straight from forum member Dima's quote.
If it is something like Windows' insiders program, as in format then it is possible I think.
In above case you just stop communicating with insider server, in MB case you cannot stop, but perhaps they have an alternative server with non-beta software that you will connect to if you were to opt out

Yes perhaps that is the case and like you mentioned in your previous post, they have to have a backup server with the older version.
It is actually not that hard. For people that did not opt for Beta testing of this, they have them supported as normal users and when you opt out of this, MB should be able to recognize you as a normal user. This is technically possible all in the backend services without impacting any software in the car itself.
I opted back out of the Beta program and everything is back to normal, thankfully. I could NOT do it in the car, I turned it off on the Mercedes Me phone app but I don't remember which screen as it took some hunting to find it.
