Adaptive volume control

Is this not available on the c300? The sound going down to almost zero when the car stops is incredibly aggravating.

I second this! The volume adjustment is very abrupt when slowing down or speeding up.

If you’re at low speeds and you have the volume at a lower level already it’s really annoying when stopping at lights or stop signs in particular.

I haven’t found a way to adjust or turn this off yet

I could not find the setting for this like it existed in the w205.

There are a bunch of ways to adjust the volumes of individual sources, etc. but not specifically the speed one mentioned here.

Isn't this the option to enable/disable it or change intensity at System -> Audio -> Entertainment -> Audio normalization (or similar)?
I haven't noticed this effect you mention. Only at high speeds I do notice volume increases to compensate the engine sound, but nothing annoying, actually it's good

I don't know what that does. I thought it might mean different sources would be normalized on their output volume but that was the closest setting I found that might be what we are looking for. I'd need to look that up in the manual. I haven't gotten that far.

The Loudness normalization is something totally different. It compensates for differing loudness when changing between audio sources and within an audio source. Adaptive volume control I have seen on some youtube how-tos. I just dont know if it got left off ours.
