C300 diffuser upgrade to C43 diffuser

Anybody did already a conversion from 'regular' w206 to C43 diffuser?
Found mulitple supplier's which state it fits 100% if you don't have a towbar. Unfortunately for me, i have a towbar and I need it frequently.

I had this same problem with my last 2 BMW 3 series also, where the supplier told it would not be possible, but in reality it just fitted (narrow).

Hope anybody has some experience with this conversion already so I'm not risking ordering a diffuser for nothing

Interested in the outcome you get to.
I'm not in the same boat but wondered who else has done a similar mod?

to the OP, are you going full 43 rear bumper conversion or are you just getting the 'shark fins' look between the 'fake exhaust' ?

Should be an easy swap IF you have the Sport / AMG rear trim with the accentuated trapezoid exhaust, else a complete rear bumper change. Altho' not quite apples (W206) to apples (W213), I did same swap on my W213 E450 and it fits perfectly (see below). Hope this helps.

Update:
I found out there are actually some original OEM parts for the C43 with trailer hitch / Towbar.
only problem Is I cannot seem to find a good catalogue to find the item numbers of these.

In The Netherlands there are nO C43’s with towbar, but in Germany there are.
Now I found one but kind of stuck on this point.

Anyone here who can help me find out what part number I need?

looks really good. Did you DIY? Where did you order the new valence and tips from?

The diffuser and the tips are sold as a kit. Quite a few on e.bay but I bought mine from autunik website. And bcos I wanted chrome tips, it took about 3 months to receive (shipped from Hong Kong). I then took it to a local tuner shop to install. Total cost = $900 ($300 materials + $600 install). To me it was worth every cent

e450 wagon
That’s super helpful - thanks for that. I prefer the quad look on the e450 wagon and keen to try and install this. Hopefully it works with a stealth hitch!
