OTA updates
Hi All
I have just picked up a ‘new’ used C300 D AMG line Premium Plus from a Uk dealership.
The Mercedes Me app says MBUX 2.2 software update is not installed and it is showing 18/10/2023.
I followed the instructions ie Settings>System>Software Updates , in the car and it says no updates available. The dealership says it can take months for the updates to show in the car, yet an update for the Communication software is installed from 11/10/2023.
Sounds a bit like I am being fobbed off, as in we don’t know but we can’t admit it………
Any ideas?

Ah okay, So updates on the car is hit and miss from country to country and also model to model.
Its like how Google updates it browsers. They do not roll out to all devices in one go. They would stagnate it in due course.
I have a 72 reg C300e estate. On my Mercedes Me app, it got 2.4 installed back in 06/10/2023. If we get more UK owners to come forward with what version they are running on then it would help build more of a picture what could be going on.

The weird thing is I got in the car on Xmas day and it showed an update was waiting . I thought it was the missing update so I loaded it. It turned out, however, to be an update for the phone charge mat. The release date was 25/12 so it came instantly.
