2021-2024 C-class recall
Wonder if anyone has had this recall? I just got this recall notice

Have the dealerships already had the parts for replacement ? Is it a big/tedious replacement?

I have just booked mine in for a service and was told that there were 2 recalls outstanding, this being one and a software update. They warned me that any mapping or tweaks that have been made will be wiped out with new software update. Only bought the car in Nov 23 and before I picked it up it had to have around 4 recalls done. It's a Jan 22 model.

Several months after receiving this notice, I got it done while the car was in for something else. They had the part in stock. Don't wait for a second notice telling you that the part is in stock, I never received one.

I got it done recently. I have brought the car in the morning and pucked up in the late afternoon.

As I said, my car was in for something else and I had a loaner, so I can't tell you how long the recall took. If I remember correctly my car was only in for a day.
