MBUX got an update which added some new features (camera defaults to parking mode when entering driveway), but as everything MB it broke things as well. I play music from my USB Drive which now defaults to repeat every time I start my car. If you switch from repeat to shuffle it has the current song in queue for eternity (from the repeat default) and it starts shuffling the same song, aka repeat! The only solution is to remove the USB stick and reconnect it after switching to Shuffle mode.

Anyone know of a fix for this?

 

What MBUX version do you have? I had similar issues with shuffle play that got lost upon next car start and were fixed with latest update I got.

I think I did have the same version you have earlier when I had those issues. Now I have this version and issues are solved.
How did you get the update, automatically over the air or at the dealer?

 

It is my understanding that not all cars receive the exact same updates, it is dependent on the Region and the options that specific car has. This last update was OTA but I have also received some updates when at the dealership. Anyway, hoping I get your update soon.
