DIY job for spark plug change

I have a 2023 C300, Just had Number 4 spark plug spoil. Out of the blue poor acceleration and vibration....

Under warranty so no problem getting it fixed.

Going forward, how often do you recommend changing out Spark Plugs (I see conflicting information at 30K) and is it a diy job. Very handy, did the oil change at 6 months ( I know it didnt need it)
Just planning ahead.

Do you recommend getting a code reader also?

thanks

Hmmm, spark plugs going that soon is uncommon on the M254 engine, might be a factory defect, I believe the spark plugs are due every 50K miles for the M274, as for the M254 I am not sure.

I agree -- 50K to 60K is normal unless your driving habits are exceptional. IMO, everyone should own a scanner -- it's a small expenditure that yields valuable information.
