I noticed that the left front headlight was sitting somewhat weird and I opened the hood to find the two plastic supports that hold it in place are both broken. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't know how or when it occurred. I purchased it in December and think I would have noticed it before now, but the vehicle has not been in any accidents. The car body and clear headlamp plastic are without damage. I'm worried that even though under warranty, I will
be accused of having damaged it in a collision and the entire thing will need to be replaced on my dime for a couple of thousand dollars because at least on line, it looks like the lamp is sold as a single assembly and not just the top cover alone. Any thoughts? Anyone else have this problem?

Also, if there was a collision, wouldn't it have been recorded in the Collision Detection part of the Mercedes Me app. Also somewhere in the car's memory does it keep a log of all of the collision detection events?
