Really hope they update MY22-24 cars with MBUX 3. The center airbag is nice I guess, I personally don’t really care for it. I wonder what “MB-Tex Steering Wheel” is, option L3M. It’s listed under the optional section of what’s new, but I can’t find any info on it anywhere else.

I don't think MBUX 3 will be a simple software update, it's technically an entire generation of system. On the other hand, aside from the "routines", the only real differecne is the badge for the apps, MBUX really is so good (in my opinion) that I guess MB wanted to generally keep it the same. At least this will still have the constant climate buttons.
Interesting to see MB-Tex steering wheel as an option, I wonder if all MB-Tex comfort interiors will have it or if it will be a free option.
So excited to see nappa leather back! One of my gavorite options.
Notable that AR is no longer listed in pinnacle (nor as a standalone, not even as a late availablilty option). Eaton has highlighted earlier in the E Class thread that there are some major parts shortages for it and the dashcam that relies on it. Also no mention of enhanced ambient lighting as a standalone or part of exclusive/pinnacle.
I'm not a massive fan of Alpine Gray but that's cool for those that are, and the center airbag is finally for the US after being on many other market's cars for years now. Still don't really know what it is though lol. It's code 325 for those curious.

Agreed on Alpine grey, it’s too common across the industry and kind of looks like primer with clear coat. The center airbag is an airbag between the driver seat and front passenger seat that goes off in the event of a side impact collision.

Don't know if this will be available for US spec cars, but apparently there will be a new "automatic lane change assistant (Code K46, " Automatic Lane Change ALC ")" according to this article

PFL205.064 with M276.823 (Oil pump solenoid defeated)
So third generation MBUX is the same system in the CLE and the new E?

I placed an order for a 2025 C-Class on April 25. I live in the US and was wondering if anyone else had ordered a new one and have seen any movement about when production can be expected. My salesman is watching, but I'm not sure how often he checks except when I text him to ask. I just wanted to see if anyone had heard any other information. The build was submitted that day. After having my 2023 stolen in March, I'm rather impatient.

That is a good thing. I'm working on learning as much as I can as well. With that in mind, do you know of a source that will indicate where vehicles will be produced? I know that my 2023 was produced in South Africa. It seems that vehicles destined for the US were produced there for MY 2023.

W206s for the North American market are made in South Africa, no change in that.
I believe early production of the C43 came from Germany but I’m not sure.

I just received a call from my sales person and he said that allocations have been released and we will be able to submit my build order. I'm going to meet him Monday or Tuesday to review the build and "get the ball rolling". Hope this helps anyone else waiting. Now to find out when they will be starting production.

i just placed an order for my 2025 c300 about 2 weeks ago, my salesman stated i took his last allocation not sure if they only get a certain amount a year? My production date is stated to be started in late august so hopefully i can have the vehicle by October not sure how long the build process take seeing that this is my first time doing a custom built, but thats all the news i have so far he did say the vehicle should have enhanced ambient lighting!

Sounds great. Where do you live? My salesperson said they just got their allocations. I will share all the information that I get. We can share what is going on between our two vehicles if you like. Good luck.

No problem. I ordered a Pinnacle trim package, Black with Black interior. I also ordered the Driver Assistance Package, panorama roof, ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, MB navigation package with AR, Advanced USB Package, acoustic glass, dashcam, and rear side impact air bags. Most everything else was part of the Pinnacle package. I also ordered the 18"mulii-spolke wheels and wheel locks. I should have some additional information tomorrow I can share about my order. Good luck with yours.

I met with my sales person this morning and my order received a allocation. My scheduled production date is August 13th. Good news for me.
