Started my car this morning for a quick errand and the primary screen didn't turn on. Started getting error messages, Active Blind Spot Assist Inoperative, Parktronic Inoperative, Traffic Sign Assist Inoperative (didn't know I had that feature). I turned the car on /off a few times, same issue. Was also noticing a motorized whine from the trunk area that I don't recall hearing before.

Decided to run my errand anyway, parked the car, restarted it 15 minutes later to come home and everything worked normally again. Question is take it to the dealer, wait for an update or see if it happens again? Just don't want to get stranded again (see my previous posts)

 

I’ve had those errors pop up a couple of times in the last 10 months but not with the display going off. I think it’s something interfering with the front radar when it first turns on and initialises itself.
you need to switch off and lock the doors and wait a but for the system to fully shut down and not just restart the car to reset it.
