Hi all,

My car is approaching the end of its warranty (currently at 45k miles), and I'm wondering what the upcoming services will entail.
What parts or fluids typically need to be replaced at 50k miles, 60k, etc.?

Is there an official maintenance schedule available? I've looked around but haven’t found anything specific for the W206.
I'm planning to take the car to an independent mechanic, but I’ll also get quotes from MB dealerships to get an idea of the cost.

Thanks!

It varies. In EU (Croatia) I got this schedule from my dealer for my W206 (220d):

1. Service - engine oil and oil filter, dust filter
2. Service - engine oil and oil filter, dust filter, air filter, brake fluid
3. Service - engine oil and oil filter, dust filter, air filter, fuel filter
4. Service - engine oil and oil filter, dust filter, air filter, brake fluid
5. Service - engine oil and oil filter, dust filter, air filter, brake fluid, air filter, fuel filter, automatic transmission oil and oil filter

That would be every 10,000 km?
I think there are spark plugs to be done at 50k for gasoline engines but I'm not sure, that's why I would like to know for sure.

No. In EU we cannot just slap various lawsuits to Mercedes so they don't force us to have such low service intervals to cover possible legal damages Here Mercedes recommends service every 1 year or 25.000 km (whichever comes first). Mine is diesel so I'm not sure about spark plugs.

Probably its best you ask your dealer to give you a quote. In it you should be able to see what would they would plan to do. It also helps if you have Mercedes Me app as they use it to read your current millage when deciding what service they should perform.

I had a B1 at 10K and the app says I will have an A1 in exactly a year (not milage but time). The B1 was $1200 USD! Felt like a gouge to me.

That's $875 USD. Not quite as bad, but triple what my Acuras cost for similar service. Or my wife's Subaru.

Well, that's just Servise A. Servise B is 100€ more, and the "big" service on 100.000km or every 6 years when transmission fluid is to be replaced is 15000€. Luckily I will hand over the car to my wife until that happens 😂

my first B Service at 20k miles was around $800, the second B service at 40k miles was $775. Both at MB dealerships.
Always shop around for pricing.

The maintenance reminder on my car specified a B service so, I made an appointment with my dealer Tuesday morning for $798. Since my car has only 9,700 miles, they only did A service for $398. They also did the yearly state inspection which they quoted at $87 but, is free for life if you buy the car there.
They will probably do the B service in 361 days according to the maintenance reminder.

Please PM me if you have found one in Houston. The one I found based on reviews twice quoted me the same or higher price than the dealership for routine maintenance items.

That's interesting. For my C200 interval is 20000km. Wonder if the difference comes from the market or engine (gasoiline vs diesel). But would be strange to have longer interval for diesel...
I can confirm about saprk plugs, they were replaced when i did service at ~52000km. But i think by default it's 60000km, just depends on how much you are driving and when is your service due. They will do it so, that it's always replaced at 60kkm latest, sometimes earlier.
In April i paid ~750$ for B1 service with spark plugs in Poland.
120kkm service will be much more expensive - replacing oil filters in transmission requires new oil pan, as filters are integrated to it + it requires special equipment to percisely adjust oli level, so cannot be done at just any garage...
In Poland there are some garage's other than dealerships, that offer this and it's 500-750$ just for transmission oil change. I have no idea how much it costs at the delarship, but i would expect quite much more.

Does anyone know the part number for the spark plugs of the C300 mild hybrid 2.0l?
Mercedes parts websites don't list the models fitment, so it's difficult to find the right information.
I suspect it's the part 2541590000 but I'm not sure.
Thank you

Mb provides service sheets which go beyond 100000 miles. I don't have one for the w206, but here is a copy of the glc version shared on the forums. I can't imagine the glc ICE service will be different from the c300. I hope you find it useful!

I have that booklet, but it only gives information about warranty, not detailed service intervals.
