Android auto stopped working. How can I fix it?

It gets connected to bluethooth but when i it the smartphone button does not work. Pkease your help.

 

Has It stopped working completely even after you reboot the MBUX system or shutdown and start the engine?

My apple carplay sometimes get disconnected suddenly or doesn’t connect when I start the car. I just reboot the MBUX (by holding down the power button until the screen turns black) and it will usually reconnect.

Is Wi-Fi on the smartphone and the car? Wi-Fi is required for wireless. Does it work if to connect via USB cable?

 

What model year is your w206? It may need a software update. What is your MBUX version?

Debug is only activated through XENTRY, MB's proprietary software which they use for all aspects of the vehicle. Your MBUX version seems up to date however there are software updates for other aspects of the system not delivered over the air and only installed through an OBD connection in XENTRY. If the issue persists, I would definitely take it to the dealer and have them fix it under warranty. It may also be helpful to ask them directly to connect to XENTRY and update all systems. Sometimes for warranty work they would rather replace the entire computer...

 

Mbux will reset itself intermittently. This will reset some presets. Most of the time, it will default user profile and fingerprint, drive mode, stop/start, seat and mirrors (parking and reverse mode). But not all at the same time. It is annoying.
When this happens, connected device needs to be deleted and go through the reconnection setup again.

I have also discovered if you send car for service, when the tech push button to turn on accessories and then turn off before system can boot properly, it will reset to defaults.
If start engine and turn off, some settings will default.
If start engine and try to activate sunroof immediately, it will hang the roof opening function until car is stopped and locked overnight before it will accept touch input again.
