Upgrade Burmester with additional DSP
Upgrade Burmester with additional DSP
Hi all,
I drive a CLE with Burmester Soundsystem (17 Speakers) but its very similar to the current C Class and Soundsystem is identical I think.
Im wondering if anyone has achieved an upgrade of the OEM system by only adding a DSP, continue using the burmester amp, original speakers etc. If so, which one did you use?
I would love to upgrade by using an external dsp and actively control each speaker, unfortunately I havent found a Plug & Play Solution (I dont want to cut any cables) for a 16+ Channel + DSP & Burmester.
Are there any / other less-invasive measure to improve sound of OEM Burmester?
So open to all hints! thanks!

I'm a bit confused as to why you'd want to still use the Burmester amp? Message a guy called Allwoodsaudio, he's created a plug and play loom for the W206 with Burmester. For the non Burmester he normally ESX VE1300.11SP Amp/DSP, if you want 16+ channels I'm assuming the main option will be a Helix V. If you speak to him he'll present you with your best options
