2018 C300 transmission valve body torque specs
Dear MBWorld,
I am replacing transmission fluid for 2018 C300 vehicle with 725 transmission. As I tried to drain the pan fluid via drain hole, initially I accidently untightened one of the valve body hex bolt straight up via the drain hole. It poured about 2.5 quarts fluid. I have not drain the pan and is still intact. Google search suggest leave the pan intact, retighten the valve body bolt, and pour the exact fluid amount back. Is this the correct workaround? What is the torque specs? Where can I pour back the fluid? Thanks.
