I got a strange update notice on my 2024 C300 today. I was driving, parked it, and I got a popup on the screen saying that a central display update would begin if I pushed the Yes button, and would take effect as soon as I exited the car and locked it. It would need 30 minutes to install, so I could not use the car during that time. I let it update, and when I got back in everything seemed the same. I went to Settings>System and it said, basically, the update made the display more "robust" and improved "touch." I'm in the US.

@W205C43PFL is correct. Mercedes is horrible at providing software updates details and prefers to leave customers with as little information as they possible can.
The update is for the recall to stop the screens from randomly blacking out and creating dangerous conditions.
