Update: 2nd generation CLS
So for those who havn't seen, from what I have been reading this is essentially what the new 2nd generation CLS will look like(minus the hatchbackness). I'm loving the front

i actually saw it last weekend. they were doing some sort of photshoot or commercial for it in downtown vancouver. i tried to get pics but i was stopped from doing so 
the front is kind of similar to the one in the pic but the lower grills are different.

As much as both, my wife and I would love to have the CLS for our next Benz purchase, this is not going to be it. 1st gen all the way...

Looks like hell.
I can't believe it. They totally ruined the elegant looks and styling of the current model. I agree with Paul. Looks like a Dodge offering. I wasn't totally off by posting that front picture of the Ram truck a few weeks back.

I guess I am one of the few that really like the car. I think it looks really good and aggressive. I agree it seems to have lost a bit of the CLS DNA but much better looking than the BMW competition

Sorry, but this is one fugly design. It looks like a Maxima. Daimler should toss out Wagener and let him go design Japanese cars.
Why put those Ponton rears on the CLS. The lines look horrid. And the tail lights are absurd.
