It is best not to look too closely at the headline performance figures we recorded for the CLS63 AMG. We picked our moment to visit our test track as carefully as we could, but still couldn’t avoid the showers that meant the CLS63 wanted to spin its wheels all the way through first, second, and into third gear.

They do the same thing on Top Gear. It rains so much in the U.K., and they only have the cars for a limited time, so I'd guess that it's either test it in the wet or don't test it at all. But yeah, it's kind of worthless in terms of comparing cars...

These guys have the cars for such a limited time from the manufacturer, that they test it regardless of weather (unless there's a tornado brewing).
Good for them that they posted the outdoor temperature and that it was showering, however, I agree with my fellow members here....these numbers are not representative of the car's performance, at least for most of us.
