Congrats, I love the color combo.
The lines on the new CLS63 are the hottest of any car out there right now, in my humble opinion.

I'm going to have to be patient and wait to ****** up a used one in a couple years.

a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
Amazingly optioned car. Those ceramic brakes alone will give you whiplash.

I will always be a big fan of white cars, but it will take some time for me to get use to that red interior.

Why do we have to have those HUGE orange side markers in the US??
The car looks stunning without it.

Thanks for sharing all those pics and enjoy her.

LOL!
I think you and I are the only ones that are having issues with the side view mirrors.

I know! I drove by a 2012 CLS today and the car is beautiful and the side mirrors ruin it. I just can't warm up to them. They just look...so stupid

Your worst nightmare...
Mo, Awesome car bro. Love every detail. The red interior is to die for...

I still think she has nothing on the Bullit.

I might visit Dubai early next year...we will be in touch.

Just beautiful.

As you can see from my sig line, I'll be taking delivery soon on something very similar. Unfortunately, in the U.S., the leather options are bland, to say the least (black, grey, or beige -- reminds me of what Henry Ford said about the Model T: any color you want, as long as it's black). Red leather might not be for everyone (I love it, personally), but why Mercedes doesn't offer something other than neutrals in their leather options for this model (even maroon or navy if they don't want to be too radical) for their U.S. bound models is beyond me.

I wanted to do some action videos unfortunately the hood design that we have made to get the ram air filters has created a lot of drag which reduced it's performance plus it's cooking hot here in the UAE, we will get some when the drag strip reopens in winter. Hopefully by then we solve the hood issues.

Now, a maroon interior is something I can get on board with.
White on maroon is sexy.

Any way, this is such a great/fun car, it doesn't matter what the color is.

I just got word that I'm one step closer. My car is officially on the high seas, due into Brunswick, Georgia 7/27. Maybe another week to clear customs, ship to Mercedes-Benz of South Charlotte, and dealer prep?

I'm not much on mods -- no window tinting, lowering, or aftermarket wheels (though I did go with the optional forged wheels). I'm going to look into getting a Passport 9500ci radar detector/laser jammer installed in a stealthily hidden manner (will be well over 2K with installation, but that's less than a ticket for 145 in a 45 would cost, right? ). Probably the only visible mods will be replacing those ugly orange side markers with white ones when they're available, and maybe some carbon fiber mirrors to match the rear spoiler (mirrors inexplicably not available as an option on U.S. bound cars, but I'm sure they'll be available).

Now, I have to go practice my itty-bitty handwriting, so I can fit a big number onto a small check. Ouch! I don't think the pain will last long, once I take possession of the car.

Here's link to the Passport 9500ci page:

https://www.escortradar.com/store/passport-9500ci.html

Click on the dealer locater link at the bottom. Lots of new car dealers sell and install them, including my dealer. I haven't talked to my dealer yet, so I don't know how much installation will be, but it likely won't be cheap. The detectors are hidden behind the grille, and on or behind the rear license; the control panel and readout will be on the dash or in the cockpit somewhere -- hopefully, in the ashtray so it can be concealed when the car is parked, or if (God forbid) an officer walks up to my window.

The devices jam, or "shift" laser transmissions, but not radar. For reasons I do not know, laser jamming is legal in most states, but radar jamming is not (plus it is apparently much more difficult to accomplish, anyway).

I know what you mean.
The break-in period is torture.

Don't you just love the song she sings on a cold start?

Yeah I only ran her about 750 miles, I won't use the RS untill she has done 1000 miles, the cold start isn't bad I was used to my CL65 with no cats this is still not a match, but maybe when I change the exhaust and get rid of the cats some time soon
