Ouch.. TT FTW!! Though if I'm understanding descriptions on races/vehicles?? The CLS63 is proclaiming to be completely STOCK? vs C63 on R888/TB/ECU/CAMS/100 cell race cats..
Not buying it for a min that CLS is Stock, it'd need @ very least ECU tune to pull like that.. my .02

Either this CLS has an ECU tune or mods on C63 are off? or C63 has a really bad ECU tune? or & 20" whl pkg on C63..

The lightweight Carbon-Ceramic rotors are def helping a bunch too... Awesum car outta the box that's for certain.. But the vidz show a HUGE acceleration dif up top ie Trap speeds on both cars should be extremely CLOSE 120-121 mph

Trust me I didn't expect to leave him like that I promise you once CLS owners start racing them and documenting it you will see same resaults.

My guess is that like in the past the CLS63 is another benz vehicle under rated from factory. This thing has to have over 500whp STOCK. Thats my guess. Cant wait to see the F10 M5 vs this !

a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
dbasons55, thanks for sharing the videos.
A few questions:
1) What are the settings you're using for transmission and suspension? For example, Manual transmission, Sport+ suspension, etc.
2) From a dig, did you use Race Start in that video?
The blue lights on that bridge remind me of the Yas Hotel in the Yas Marina Formula 1 circuit.

Their marketing material state 0-60MPH in 4.4sec; with the Performance Package it's 4.3sec.
I think R&T (and possibly MT) are achieving 4.0sec and less with the CLS63 equipped with the PP.

The ceramic brakes are braking fine when cold, and they perform excellent at high speeds.
In the race from the dig, in both races my suspension setting are untouched on comfortable setting, traction was on complete off in the first race where I didn't get any grip and burned rubber but still I was catching up, second video I turned to sport setting for the traction I did not use Race Start.
