a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
Interesting that the Panny is 0.5sec quicker from 0-62mph.
That's a significant difference.
I know AWD can help lay the power down, but I didn't think it would do it by THAT much.
Also, there's a couple of critics (I think R&D is one of them??) who have clocked the CLS63 w/ PP doing 3.9sec. But I think that was 0-60mph.
Anyway, you can't go wrong with either car.
Having to choose between a Porsche Panamera Turbo or a CLS63TT AMG is a good problem to have.

And good post - thanks for the review. My new CLS 63 w/ PP is sitting in Baltimore, about to be hit by Irene. FML.

I had a trade in the deal, so it's hard to say whether I got a steal on the car or they overpaid for the trade. I did hear, generally, that MSRP can be had all day long on these.

MSRP on these cars - definitely 100% - maybe even $1-2k off (more off on the non-AMG).
I've seen the 0-60 in 3.8 seconds as well - not sure where.
I believe it with the PP
