I attached the dealer redacted build order and prices (I want to ask my salesman before I disclose the dealership publicly).

Maybe they porked you on your trade?

Or maybe the car got a full repaint at the VPC!
I've seen and heard of crazy sshhit with the VPC, you never know--that's why I always look over every inch of my cars before taking them home.

No trade, my old car was an 09 M3 that was salvaged after another driver ran a red light and hit it. The new CLS won't be in until first week of Dec, but I will definitely go over it very carefully when I pick it up.

In terms of the reasons for all this variation in deals, I think this is a highly regionalized matter. I would suspect that many more AMGs are old in SoCal then in the northeast and its a simple matter of supply and demand.

Congrats on your new ride, you got a smoking deal. I don't know why some feel its impossible to get good deals, it happens especially now. Enjoy!

ohhhh Man.. this is a depressing post !!!! lol Just Kidding, I never look back at these things, I was one of the first to pick up in SoCal, and I paid full Sticker regardless of my relationship with the dealership especially on a New order car. I am sure if I waited for a floor car, I could of had a better deal... Oh well, But Congrats to everyone whos getting a good deal on their 2012 CLS63....

Was this a cash deal or a lease/finance deal?

It is a 60 month finance deal with $30K cash down. Although, I can't lock an interest rate this far out at today's rates I would be <= 2.9% (2.75% with auto payment). The lease deal on this was horrible and didn't make sense given the low purchase money finance rate and the fact that I will only drive the car 6,000 miles a year (I both live and work in downtown Philly). I don't think MBFS likes to cut deals on AMG leases.

Current new car rates with equity (under 90 percent front end) with 725 ficos and above are running high ones.... if rates remain flat, and I think they will, you will get a better rate than 2.75% IMHO. Your 30k down will definitely help you here.

Thanks for the heads up. I will make sure to shop around.

BTW, I know this is off topic but does anyone have a Lunar Blue CLS and if so can they share pictures? I stuck with the red P30 brake calibers but the wife wanted the option delete for silver and I am wondering if the color combo will look good. Would start a new thread but can't figure out how to do so.

Im sure your dealer will many avenues for you to use such as Chase, US Bank, BofA, CapONe....etc.

I have not seen Lunar Blue live but im sure it is striking... I think the red will look good with the car. If yellow was an option I might opt for that. The yellow ceramic calipers on the blue Panamera is good looking IMHO.

I can't stand the red calipars. They look so out of place on a bens. I wish they left the silver, or grey.

You can delete the red on a P30 order and substitute the regular AMG silver. That is my quandry. Would love yellow but that is not an option.

12 CLS63, 12 GLK350, 08 RR SPORT SC,
So alittle off topic, but who's going to the Amg driving school? I was given a free trip to Mercedes Amg driving school with my purchase. Anyone else?
