Wow!

It looks like you had a nice pull from him both times in the very beginning. Is it me or it seems like the gap had stabilized after entering into the higher speed like 100+ mph?

True Ali pointed out that after 125mph it stabilized and i wasn't pulling any further I dont know why but that's strange although I reached speeds of 240-245km where Ali reached 220-230km

i didn't expect to post that fast LOL

thank you for your time the pleasure was mine.

i loved the cosmatic on your cars, specially the color of windows frame, it is so close to my car color, i think i may do mine as well.

guys:

the exhuast sound of his car is better and not that loud. so it is perfect . and the POP sound from tail pipes when shifting was adorable .

it is true that there were stabilizing at high speeds which was strange in 4th gear.

Wow, that's a great setup for the car.

I'm very curios about the additional cooling ?
If your willing, we would love to better understand it with a few pics ?

I hope over time other companies offer something to us like this setup.
Brabus is 3,000 miles away in California and does not support our market.

a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
Thanks to both for taking the time to get together and taking videos.

dbasons55,
Do you have any pics of the brabus exhaust compared to the stock cls63 TT?

I ask because a cut back system generally does not yield such results & inter coolers are generally there to maintain your power/ output due to AIT

Some how me thinks power is purely down to the tune. Removing cats will give you a bit more

Once Ali gets tuned things will be clearer

Thanks for sharing with us! I'm sure you'll get it dyno when done. I'm not a big fan of piggy back tune and i had similar outcome on my Panamera turbo. I went with Evoms piggy back tune and it would be faster up to 5000 rpm but after that it would crap out as
it would not boost past 12psi...stock on PTT would do 14psi. After sending me 3 units they finally refund my money. IMO you should find a way to measure the boost manually or dyno the car..it seems like you're losing boost up top. Here's my vid of PTT..boost gauge is in the upper right hand corner. Sold the PTT short after and got my CLS 63

Thanks for the info, well we are waiting on my parts to arrive and after they are installed Brabus will be trying the car out and figure out what's wrong and they will be taking boost readings, at the same time they are scratching their heads back in Germany to figure out a solution, I visited them today they are on top of things, so hopefully this endsup in my favor and I get a good tune.

thats what i was feeling when racing, that dbasons55 CLS was faster in responding. i noticed after the count 3 his car moves while man it is delayed. maybe they installed something like the sprint booster !!

but his CLS moves

my CLS respond after 2 seconds from pressing the gas paddle. even when rolling.

and i thought the 1 second delay in the E55 was bad. LOL

I don't think it's time delay because when we tried on a roll we had the cars set on second gear, I think FlyC63 is right, maybe I have more boost to start with and then I start losing the boost that's why I was stabilizing on higher speeds, just by having better cooling and less spun weight (carbon-ceramics), I should continue on pulling away! I hope it figures out, I am really pleased that we had the chance to try, it's helping my case with Brabus to get a better tune

Is the F10 an all-wheel drive setup?

rwd at launch, but rumor is that a AWD version may break cover, was stated a possibility by high ranking staff at BMW. Should they add AWD, it'll only kill the M5's dynamics, since it already weighs about 4300 lbs.

The F10 M5 is gonna have a dual clutch setup identical to that in the M3, and the engine is somewhat different to that of the one in the X5/X6. Something about the turbos being mounted in a special way, etc etc

I got her on the dyno after 7 runs this was the highest reading on the 5th gear, i guess Ali you should let us know if your car is a complete stock or is it tuned or what is going on, cuz if i have 40HP more than stock i might as well have increased the gap rather than stabilizing !! so spit it out next week i will try it out with another stock CLS63 with PP and will get another video done and see the difference.

my car for sure is stock + i don't have ceramic brakes, so my brakes are heavier.

thats why i told you from the begining that Brabus figures don't show on the street comparing to the power it gives you.

maybe my engine is good LOL coz i breaked it as the manual says.

It has nothing to do with breaking in I guess it's just as it is will have to wait for someone to come with some serious tuning plus we need to see what your car is putting on the wheel then we can figure it out I guess
