Vic,
You get that kit on yet???? was delivered today I saw.
I checked with KW and they told me that the E63 uses the same parts. I can't verify it yet. I will try and get a 100% answer soon.

As for the E63 I would assume its the same parts---- not that this match makes any sense but the same springs that lowered my E63 can be used to lower the 2012 CLS63. So it kind of makes sense that the same sleeved coil would work.

Well I was thinking about this last night- since I am able to adjust not only the rears but the fronts with this coilover system, Ill probably first pic a stance that looks good. Ill drive it for a while to make sure that Ive not sacrificed too much function for form. So what this means is a probably tire right on fender.

Pics coming.... car looks great. I did not use the lowest setting in the front with the coil sleeves and the rear links from KW (made by Eibach LOL) do not drop it enough for me. Fortunately my tech knows how to adjust the rear and was able to get me another 1/2 inch.
Ill start pics in a different thread.

Vic could you explain this in a little more detail? I was curious as to how Serge adjusted your rear links to get you that extra amount of drop, I will have the KW's here before the car even arrives and once it does it goes straight onto the lift for the drop, I'm like you I drop everything and I do it as soon as I take possession of said vehicle, any help would be greatly appreciated, ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Since I didnt do the process myself to further lower the rear, I can only explain what he was telling me as he did it. The link with the KW kit is a certain length and it replaces the stock link forcing the car down lower but its not low enough to my liking. Serge is able to adjust a certain bolt or measurement underneath to lower the car more than the link allows. Im not sure how he does it but he did it on the CLS and on my E63 also.

kinda like on the old 55 which was airmatic front and back the rods were threaded and you could adjust the cars height by threading the replacement rod either in or out, if I remember correctly the front rods you would thread longer for lower and the one in the rear was the opposite, it's basic geometry, not that I have a clue

12 CLS63, 12 GLK350, 08 RR SPORT SC,
ok got it as I am familiar with coilovers and how they work in relation to vehicle height, and you're saying the links for the rear are like the old 55 links in that there threaded for height adjustability? and that to get the rears lower I have to figure out how yours were adjusted a little more for the extra drop![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
