Drivetrain loss for 2012 CLS63?

How much is it? I got the car dyno'd and it made about 420 HP at the wheels - and I've got the performance package. That said, it indicated 563 HP at the crank with the monitor on crank speed.

Thoughts? Seems like a lotta loss.

That seems too low. But remember dynos can be easily manipulated in the positive AND the negative... along with conditions to add.

420 hp with a std 18% DT loss would say your car is making around 512 hp at the crank. Maybe its the heartbreaker dyno aka DynoDynamics.

Ya it seems way low. The dyno was a DYNOmite chassis dynamometer, supported by DYNO-MAX 2000 PRO interface.

Dynos give perspective but they dont mean a thing in the real world. Do you have any friends with comparable cars that you can do a rolling race with?
