Are all the blind spots bothersome to anyone?

Love the CLS!!!
Don't love all the blind spots in there.
Can any current 2012 owners chime in on their
thoughts about blind spots?
Many thanx!

To me they are no different than others cars Ive had, I just get used to adjusting how I look. I really dont notice them too much in the CLS and like Impex mentioned- I too have the blind assist/lane tracking stuff.

Now the GTR; those are some blinders!!!!!!

my car is a 2008 but coming from an s (or my e) class the blinds spots are terrible. the worst is the driver’s side mirror...you sit low and the mirror is at eye level and blocks the view of anything when taking a left turn. Also...the windows are so small the guy at Outback (restaurant) curbside service can't get the bag through the window!

don't get me wrong...i love my car and couldn't imagine any other 4 door coupe that i would enjoy more but you gotta watch the blind spots/small windows. john

a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
Yeah, blind spots are there but just the same as with the previous CLS model. Blind spot assistance really helps and has come to good use numerous times for me especially when driving at night (I've got tinted windows).

One design aspect I like over the previous CLS is the location of the side view mirrors. The last model has them right at the corner of the window, as do most sedans. This would really obstruct my view when making a left turn.
That is, it is difficult to spot the ground especially when turning into a street that has an island in the middle. I always found myself moving my head to look around the side view mirror so as not to hit the island.

At least you didn't get a CTS-V coupe.
This thing doesn't have blind spots...it's got blind regions.

Lane assist is more annoying if for some reason I don't use signals and it brakes and pulls me back to the lane I was in.

Just took some getting used to.

Sorry doesn't brake but cuts throttle. Yeah I haven't turned off the features I like all the bells and whistles just gotta be ready when if you forget to signal.

All the active assist features overcome, in my opinion, the blind spots.

adjust your mirrors accordingly, and turn your head when needed. the only blind spot i see is mayhem on the allstate commercial!
