FINALLY got it,2012 CLS 63
i order it on 7/29/11 and picked it up last night at 8pm,matte white black interior carbon fiber, i got the straight pipes put on this morning.Doing the ecu and wheels and lowing it next,ill post better pictures soon its been raining here all day

Guys thats a resonator removal he did--- same as i did a few months back and posted my cold start and parked throttle pushes.... do a quick search and you will see and hear the clear difference in stock exhaust versus the resonator removal (for those who have heard the stock version).
The car is clearly louder at start up and and under boost. The removal really wakes up the car and remember our CLS63's do not have post cats!!!

Congrats on the new ride!
Vic - do you have any noticeable drone when cruising without the resonator? I'm worried I'll pay the price if I straight pipe mine.

Drone is highly subjective... for me I dont notice much noise if any until Im under load and thats exactly what I wanted. So I would say minimal drone under low rpms and the sound improvement is worth the money 10 fold.
You can always have the resonator put back if you like. I paid 150 dollars for the job back in October.

Its About 15%-20% louder than stock it seems the tone is not as deep as at idle also seems to be a bit more poppy when I'm getting on it, but I am so happy I did it sounds incredible I do not have any sound bites I was so excited about getting it done I forgot to do a before and after lol
