Add me to the list of happy V-Tech customers!!!!!

Gents,

I just plugged back in my freshly tuned ECU last night after V-Tech worked their Stage 1 magic.

Wow, this car really has some pop now!!!! I love the midrange acceleration. I will have a chance to flog the crap out of it on some open roads this weekend, but my first impression is that this was a great mod.

I did notice however that the car will easily break loose in first through third so I need to look at some stickier rubber or an aftermarket LSD.

Bottom line however is that I pitched a puptent the first time I dropped the hammer with the VTech tune. Their sales rep is named Jerry and he is very responsive and easy to deal with. Hope this helps for anybody contemplating an ECU flash.

Happy Friday to all!

Wolf

That's what we like to hear Mr. Wolf

We are thrilled you are satisfied with our tune. We are extremely proud of our tune and are confident it's the best available for this platform.

Enjoy and drive safe!

so with the factory LSD the vtech tune would be ... more effective?

i hope so, i ordered the LSD on mine and im seriously considering the vtech tune, when my car arrives.

although i cant imagine how you could use any more than 590 lbft of torque!!!

You can handle it very easily, and have fun doing it. The LSD makes the most of the power and handles the extra power easily.

Despite the significant gains, our tune is still quite mild and very safe. V-tech has done extensive testing during the development of this tune. While logging both on the dyno and the track there's no detonation present and the AFR is perfect throughout the power band.

In fact, there's plenty of head room to add even more power from a tune if you were so inclined. Perhaps we will add a Stage 3 tune in the future for those guys wanting to push the limits.

We also do not exceed the factory boost levels of a PP car which is 18.8 psi.
if you dont exceed the boost levels of a PP car, how do you make more power?

Our lead tech just corrected me. Our tune does increase boost, but only by 3 psi.
We also use a more advanced timing curve. These cars are extremely detuned from the factory.
