My CLS Project...
Hey guys....wanted to share the first part of the car that is complete. Its just the rear but love the way its coming along. Love to hear comments and will post more as I move along. Exterior first...then the fun stuff...

I actually agree and was just talking about this yesterday. I put it on when I bought the car as I hate the ones they come with. I was thinking just a plain matte black as well.

Yep....I do agree as well. Next question I have is about the spoiler and if I should replace with a carbon fiber one. Can you tell the the white part of the taillights are tinted. Did the same to the front and now I'm not sure what to do with the grill. Thinking about wrapping it black or trying to find a replacement grill.

I actually like the red on the 63, but the plate is a litttttle too much. Car looks great though man! I love the color of the paint

car is nice....didn't notice the tails until you mentioned it, hehe,
I'd go for the CF spoiler, as mine is awesome, but it's stock......
so you like the headlamps tinted huh?
I personally really love all that intricate business going on
in those headlamps
still looks good, have a pic with the lights on?

I like it and did not even notice the taillights until you mentioned it. The best mods are the most subtle though. I would definitely go with the CF lip. You can never go wrong with CF IMHO. Did you smoke the tails and headlights with a tinted clear or did you use a tinted vinyl overlay?

So far here is the mod list:
~Badges and wheels powder coated matte black except for 63 which is matte red
~Pipes ceramic painted matte plack
~Headlights, running lights and white of the tale lights tinted
~Changed out side markers to clear
~Had all chrome except grill wrapped matte black
Again.....big thanks to all that commented!!!

Also - I'm actually living in Laguna Niguel right now as our house is being torn down and rebuilt in Laguna Beach. We are over in Ocean Ranch. You going to check out the Benz meet today in Lake forest?

Still have those markers for you but you have to show me how to change out my filters...
