Is it me or are the issues only happening in pp cars? Rob Ali and freefall are all pp cars no? Also does anyone have any options yet for a 1 step colder plug?

I have PP with a Renntech tune. Outside of that its 100% stock.

Its been running great ever since they replaced the plugs.

Vic said the same thing to me when he found out that I did have the PP.
Told me that I ruined his sample...

I bet he started with Rob...

So it's happened to me. Misfire in cylinder 5. It wasn't so bad though. Just a bit more shakey at idle and some popping noise from the very left exhaust. It's in the shop now so we will see what they come up with. Also I'm getting the service A done. How much are you guys paying for service A?

So that makes 4 of us now huh?

I'm convinced that my tune had nothing to do with the plugs outside of the fact that it may have put more stress on a defective plug that otherwise could have handled it. I did a rally where my car was on for 5 hours under very aggressive conditions for over 200 miles on a very warm day...and she was fine.

But I am installing a Renntech Intercooler tomorrow in order to create a "safer" environment under the hood and denser air for the beast to feast on...

I could search it but is yours tuned because if its not, it only confirms my feeling that the tune has nothing to do with it.

But I am using logic based on my experience...not science.

That adds more ammo to my logic. I too had the plugs go at roughly 10 days after I got my ECU back and as mentioned, I have since driven it hard for a few thousand miles now with no issue.

Logic is learning toward the this:
-The plugs were/are defective but managed the stress under normal conditions.
-The tune is causing the plugs to be pushed to reasonable limits normally but is expsoing what may be considered a minor default by the factory.
-I have not had any plug issues after the first occurrence and once the plugs were replaced.

I will be interesting to see what happens to you over the next few thousand miles..
