Very Noob Question

Hey All,

I have been off this forum for a while since having a C63. In two days I should pick up my 2012 CLS63.

What is is the differences between the letters and numbers etc. (C219, 218 etc).

Which one is the 2012??

Thanks,

Steve

You now have a 218, the 219 refers to the previous model....I could explain more but this is easier...

The letter signifies the body style and the number typically represents the engine size (displacement) though there are some exceptions, most often with the AMG models where the numbers can represent an engine type and the actual displacement can be a bit less. For example, an S550 wil have. 5.5 liter engine, a C350 will have a 3.5 liter, and so on.
